Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and driven to your lodge in Arusha. The rest of the evening is spent relaxing and going through a pre-safari briefing over dinner. This calm start prepares you for the wildlife adventure beginning tomorrow.

Day 2: Arusha → Central Serengeti
After breakfast, begin your 335-km journey to the heart of the Serengeti. The drive takes you across ever-changing landscapes—from rolling highlands to vast savannahs. Upon entering the park, your game drive begins immediately. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and wildebeest herds. By evening, arrive at your lodge for a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Begin with breakfast before continuing your exploration of Central Serengeti—one of the planet’s richest wildlife regions. Enjoy a full day of game drives across golden plains, riverine woodlands, and kopjes. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll spend the day tracking predators, grazing herds, and rare sightings of leopards and cheetahs. As the sun sets, return to your camp for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater
An early breakfast sets the tone for your journey toward Ngorongoro—one of Africa’s most stunning natural treasures. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to black rhinos, large lion prides, hyenas, flamingos, elephants, warthogs, buffalo, and more. After your picnic lunch, continue exploring before driving to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Karatu → Tarangire National Park → Arusha
Today you depart Karatu and head toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobabs and massive elephant herds. Enjoy a final safari experience before returning to Arusha in the evening for a farewell dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Arusha → Machame Gate → Machame Camp
After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate and begin your Kilimanjaro adventure. The 5–7-hour trek leads you through lush rainforest until you reach Machame Camp (3,100m). After dinner, rest in preparation for the next day’s ascent.

Day 7: Machame Camp → Shira Camp
Today’s climb takes you through shifting landscapes—from rainforest to heather-covered ridges and volcanic terrain. After 5–7 hours of trekking, you arrive at Shira Camp (3,800m) with panoramic views of Kilimanjaro’s alpine desert.

Day 8: Shira Camp → Barranco Camp
Depart Shira Plateau and ascend to the iconic Lava Tower (4,630m), allowing crucial acclimatization. Descend into Barranco Valley to reach Barranco Camp (3,950m), dramatically set beneath the Barranco Wall.

Day 9: Barranco Camp → Karanga Valley Camp
Begin with a descent into Barranco Gorge, followed by a thrilling climb up the Barranco Wall. Trek across alpine ridges to the Karanga Valley Camp (4,237m), surrounded by glaciers and rugged high-altitude terrain.

Day 10: Karanga Valley Camp → Barafu Camp
Continue your ascent through a stark, rocky landscape to reach Barafu Camp (4,630m). This high-altitude base camp is where you rest, hydrate, and prepare for the midnight summit push.

Day 11: Summit Day – Barafu Camp → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp
Just before midnight, begin your summit push through icy scree toward Stella Point. As dawn breaks, walk the final stretch to Uhuru Peak (5,895m)—the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Mweka Camp for the night.

Day 12: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate → Arusha
Descend through Kilimanjaro’s rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you receive your official summit certificate. Afterward, transfer to Arusha for lunch, celebration dinner, and rest.

Day 13: Arusha → Zanzibar Island
Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach hotel where an ocean-view room awaits. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the sea and enjoying the tropical ambiance.

Day 14 & Day 15: Zanzibar Beach Leisure
